    Marcin Kubiak, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Malaysia, the Nation of Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of the Philippines


    Marcin Kubiak was born on 4 November 1969. He started his work for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in 1997 as a senior expert in the Department of Africa, Asia, Australia and Oceania. In 1998-2003 he was a Second Secretary, and then the First Secretary in the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi. In 2003-2007 he was working in the Department of Africa and Middle East of the MFA as the First Secretary, Counsellor and finally as the Director of the Department a. i. (2005-2006).


    In 2007-2008 he was the Ambassador of Poland to Zimbabwe, and in 2009-2012 – the Ambassador of Poland in Pretoria. After his return to Poland he became the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Regional Development (later: Ministry of Infrastructure and Development). Since 2015 he is working in the Department of Asia and Pacific in the MFA.


    Marcin Kubiak graduated from Medical Academy in Warsaw (1994) and National School of Public Administration (1997).


    He speaks English and French.
