  • Country Booth at the University Technology of Malaysia

    On16th December 2010, AIESEC students of the University Technology of Malaysia organised presentation of 17 countries. Among them also Poland received its own country booth. With materials provided by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kuala Lumpur and traditional Polish folk costiumes, over 400 delegates have the opportunity to learn more obout Poland, its tradition and culture. The Embassy of Poland wishes to thank the UTM studentsfor interest in Poland!

    Visit of the Ambassador of Poland to Kuching

    On 13-15 December 2010, H.E. Adam Jelonek visited Kuching, Sarawak, where he met Chief Minister Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Industrial Development and Tourism and Heritage Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr. George Chan Hong Nam, as well as with the Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg. Ambassador met also Vice Chancellor of the Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) Prof. Datuk Dr. Khairuddin Ab Hamid.

    Ambassador Adam Jelonek meets the Chief of Malaysian Army

    On 8.12.2010 Ambassador A. Jelonek met the Chief of Malaysian Army, Gen. Dato' Sri Zulkifeli bin Mohd Zin, who was preparing himself to visit Poland on the invitation of Polish Ministry of National Defense.

    European Union Film Festival

    The Embassy of the Republic of Poland would like to announce that the 11th European Union Film Festival will take place from 11th till 21st November 2010 . The movies from EU member countries will be screened in the following cinemas: GSC Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur, GSC 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor and GSC Pavilion KL, Kuala Lumpur.     National Mourning

    During the National Mourning period, Books of Condolences had been opened for signing in the premises of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kuala Lumpur, as well as the Honorary Consulates of the Republic of Poland in Kuching and Manila. The Embassy of the Republic of Poland would like to thank all those who came to sign the Books as well those sending their condolences by email or smses.
